Choroni is a colonial village, close to a Caribbean beach full of palm trees. On the harbour there are several restaurants, where you can get excellent seafood. It is an excellent place to start your travel or to relax the last days after an excursion in the country.

From Choroni you can also do snorkelling, hikes in the National Park Henry Pitier and boot excursions to other beaches. Close to the harbour of Puerto Colombia is the beautiful Posada Tucan under German – Venezuelan management.
